About
Jackie
"Meck showed that he has the confidence and
credibility to stand by his word, mean what he
says, and do what he says he will do." --
Jean Gray Huerta
Jackie
Meck has lived and worked in the Buckeye area his entire
life. Jackie is a strong advocate for Buckeye and has
committed his life to making our community a better place.
He works with our community leaders and our neighboring
communities on current issues to ensure the needs of Buckeye
and its residents are being met.
Jackie Meck
appreciates the opportunity to
continue his commitment to Buckeye as mayor.
Jackie strongly believes in
engaging the knowledge and skills of our citizens. One
way to do this is by forming committees-at-large to give
residents a place at the table and a chance to contribute.
Buckeye must overcome its current challenges and plan for
the future as it becomes part of the Greater Phoenix area.
Jackie is active in local
community affairs and is a recent member of the Buckeye City
Council, the Buckeye Valley Museum, the West Valley Fine
Arts, the Elks and Lions Clubs, the El Rio Restoration
Project-Gila River and is also a current member and Past
President of the Buckeye Valley Chamber of Commerce. Jackie
is also a past member of the Buckeye Elementary and High
School Bond Committees and has served as an assistant
football coach and assistant baseball coach at the high
school level.
